Zildjian Factory Tour Excerpts
This video tells the story of how an alchemist named Avedis discovered an alloy in Constantinople in 1623 that produced a beautiful sound. The sultan gave him the name “Zildjian” which means “cymbal smith” in Turkish. Centuries later in America, descendents of Avedis I, continue to invent musical instruments that define the category and produce the most famous brand of cymbals in the world.
